It's not about wanting to smack people with a big stick - though I am short tempered today and want to do this.
It's about internal fire, about putting our big boy/girl panties on and getting over ourselves in order to accomplish what lays ahead. We all find inspritation forward momentum and passion in different ways, this is just taking that energy an channeling it in a postive fashion.

It Occurs To Me

I also occurs to me that the pun may be intended.

Date: 2008-12-15 05:45 pm (UTC)You have your work cut out for you. There is a lot of information tied up in any one image. Foreground and background colors have meaning. If a portion of the picture is obscured it has meaning, plus you have the inherent energy of each of the suits.
I should also mention that I use an older decks (1500's and 1700's) Most practitioners seem to use decks from 1900 forward. The deck I primarily use is a bit different from most decks. Most have 78 cards, mine has 97. More images more wiggle room.
If you are interested in doing a little reading, I would check out anything Rachel Pollack has published. She has a great view on imagery as well as interpretation.
I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with this.

In the latter, because of the people I know who read Tarot, the energy involved in the creation becomes an issue.
I first started reading some about Tarot from a different art image idea, in the project I call my Healing Art. That question was 'What combination of cards would cause someone, reading the cards, to immediately begin to do a breast self-examination?'
Which may be more than you wanted to know. *G*
